Student Staff

We are excited to announce the beginning of the IFS Student Staff 2010 recruitment process. The Student Staff plays a critical role in helping new students adjust to campus by showing them what it takes to succeed at IU. Each year, IFS looks to past alumni and other student leaders to help with the behind-the-scenes details of IFS. In return, staff members gain an important leadership experience and have fun working with other staff members and connecting with the new students.

IFS Staff Positions

IFS RAs play a very important role on the IFS Student Staff team and gain experience in community building, event/program planning, mentoring new students, working in a team environment, and taking on administrative responsibility.
IFS Interns collaborate with faculty to meet the needs of first year students in and out of the classroom, and work with RA's to build a strong community environment.

IFS staff members also gain a deeper connection to the university by working as a representative of IU and IFS. To learn more about the staff positions, please download the RA and Intern position descriptions. Application materials are due to the IFS Office in Maxwell Hall 222 no later than Monday, November 16th at 4pm.
